Insurance Management Students Invited to Broker Team’s Project Spotlight

Insurance Management – Property and Casualty students and their families were recently invited to the Broker Team’s second iteration of their corporate social responsibility initiative Project Spotlight.

Project Spotlight is a social good project that is organized by the Broker Team and supported by many insurance companies. This initiative consists of an inclusive movie presentation event supporting a smaller local NGO which aids the Chinese speaking visually impaired community.

This year's Project Spotlight provided an inclusive screening of the Hong Kong documentary, My Voice, My Life, an internationally acclaimed film directed by Oscar-winning director Ruby Yang. Ruby Yang also attended the event from Hong Kong.

The event took place at the Tiff Lightbox, was a tremendous success, and also included impactful dialogue between parents, teenagers, educators, and business leaders.
