Insurance Management Students Connect with Employers at IIC Career Fair

The Insurance Institute of Canada (IIC) hosted a very successful Career Fair for students in the Insurance Management program (IMPG) on March 31st.

Nineteen employers - including insurance companies, independent brokers and claims adjusting firms attended the fair to recruit graduates. Throughout the two-hour event, the IIC did an excellent job at connecting students with employers in a virtual interview setting, some of which led to second interviews and potential job offers for IMPG graduates.

Demographic research has shown that over twenty-seven percent of the current workforce are deemed to retire in the next five years which has ushered a large recruitment push from insurance employers during the pandemic.

Thank you to all of the employers that attended the IIC Career Fair including DSB Claims, Claims Pro, Isure, Brokerlink, Masters Insurance, All Risk Insurance, HUB International, Pro Link, Hughwood, Surex, Marsh, The Co-operators, Zensurance, Wawanesa, Desjardins, Aviva, Northbridge, Crawford and Totten Insurance.
