Insurance Management Student Hired as Underwriter

Insurance Management program (IMPG) student Sarah Dias was recently hired full-time as an underwriter within Wawanesa’s Personal Lines Underwriting Team.

This was a significant achievement as insurance companies typically hire student graduates as underwriting assistants and promote only the most exceptional graduates as underwriters.

Throughout the academic year, Sarah was always a high-performing student. She was on the Dean’s List, completed three Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) courses, and won the Wawanesa Insurance Scholarship.

The IMPG faculty are all proud and happy for Sarah and look forward to watching her make her mark in the insurance industry!
