Insurance Management Program Partners with the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario!
On September 24, 2019, Colin Simpson, CEO of the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario (IBAO), was on site to speak to students about IBAO, the broker role and to announce their new partnership with Humber College’s Insurance Management Program (IMPG).
In effort to help more young insurance brokers get into the insurance industry, IBAO is establishing a partnership with Humber that will support IMPG students who want to become insurance brokers. IBAO will:
- Waive fees for the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) Level One license.
- Waive fees for prep course materials.
- Provide students with complimentary passes to the annual IBAO Convention in October.
- Provide work placement opportunities in some of Ontario’s best in class brokerages.
- Provide access to thought leadership through a broker mentoring initiative.
The Humber Insurance Management Program is excited about this partnership, and looks forward to working with IBAO and developing more future insurance brokers. A huge thank you to both IBAO’s CEO, Colin Simpson, and COO, Brett Boadway, who are the architects behind this fantastic initiative!
