Insurance Management Program Excited to Launch Applied Systems Curriculum
This fall, students in the Insurance Management – Casualty and Property program will have the opportunity to take part in an exciting seven-week-long unit focused on learning Applied Systems software.
Applied Systems is the leading cloud-based software provider to the insurance industry in Canada. Humber College and Applied Systems initiated a successful pilot project last year with students exploring Applied Systems technology/software, which helped prepare them for their roles within the industry. Now, students will zero in on specific Applied Systems software which includes the EPIC broker management system, the ARS quoting system, and the commercial lines system Policy Works. The curriculum was created in collaboration with Applied Systems Humber College faculty and a broker advisory committee with representation from some of the best-in-class brokerages within Canada.
