Insurance Management Hosts Virtual Grad Alumni Panel

On September 30th, the Insurance Management program (IMPG) hosted its first virtual Alumni Grad Panel. The event saw over thirty current IMPG students in attendance and nine program alumni.  

Alumni provided some valuable best practices and advice to current IMPG students on how to:

• Manage course workload in the program 
• Succeed on the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) exams
• Succeed in insurance interviews 
• Get ahead in the insurance industry once graduated from the program  

Current students were also able to ask questions to alumni including what a day in the life of a broker, claims adjuster, and underwriter roles were like.

One of the many highlights of the evening was seeing how successful IMPG alumni had become in the insurance industry.

Thank you to all the IMPG alumni for attending, and to Professor Annette Palalas for coordinating the event. The virtual event was a huge success!
