Insurance Management Hosts First Grad Alumni Panel

On October 9th, the Insurance Management Program (IMPG) hosted its first-ever alumni grad panel and was a tremendous success. The event saw over forty current IMPG students in attendance and nine program alumni.

Throughout the evening alumni provided valuable advice to current students on how to manage course workload in the program, succeed on the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) exams, ace insurance interviews and get ahead in the industry after graduation.

Current students were also able to ask the grads questions such as what a typical workday looks like for a broker or claims adjuster - both of which were represented on the panel. One of the many highlights of the evening included seeing how successful IMPG alumni had become in the insurance industry.
