Insurance Management Graduate Secures an Underwriting Position at BrokerLink

Ayush Singal, a graduate of the Insurance Management program, has embarked on a promising career as an Underwriting Assistant at BrokerLink, a prominent player in the Canadian insurance brokerage landscape. BrokerLink, with its expansive network of over 200 branches and a workforce of 3,000 employees, stands as one of Canada's largest and most reputable insurance brokerages. BrokerLink companies are subsidiaries of Intact Financial Corporation (TSX: IFC) and maintain affiliations with Intact Insurance and Jevco Insurance.

In his role as Underwriting Assistant, Ayush is responsible for issuing various policy documents, including those related to new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations. He also plays a crucial role in triaging and assigning new business submissions to the underwriting team.

As a former international student, Ayush completed the Insurance Management program in June 2023. Demonstrating a commitment to professional development, he is two courses away from obtaining his Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation license.
