Insurance Management Program student Blain Tattersall was recently hired at HUB International HKMB as a Commercial Lines Account Associate, in their Entertainment and Sports Practice here.

Blain is responsible for assisting clients with day-to-day insurance requirements including issuing Certificates of Insurance evidencing coverage under specific policies, policy renewals, marketing policies to carriers, placing risks with carriers, preparing Pre-Renewal Summary and Renewal Proposal documents, and risk management services for various sport organizations (including professional teams, amateur associations, and individual clubs), television and movie productions, theatre productions, concerts, event venues, eSport companies, and other sport and entertainment entities across Canada. He also works closely with other HUB locations, (specifically Los Angles and New York) to assist our cross-border clients with cover for any Canadian entities or operations as required.

HUB International was born in 1998 with the merger of 11 privately held insurance brokerages. Today, HUB is one of the largest insurance brokers in the world and represents a broad, deep, one-of-a-kind aggregation of insurance entrepreneurs.

Blain is a graduate of the Insurance Management Post Graduate certificate program and is in the process of completing his Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designations. In addition, Blain also completed his RIBO Level 1 License to become a licensed broker.

The faculty of the Insurance Management Program is very proud of Blain and what he has accomplished.
