Students from the Insurance Management program had the opportunity to participate in HUB Day at HUB International.

Employer field trips are an integral part of the student experience in the Insurance Management Program. It is when students step into a professional environment, engage with industry leaders, and observe workplace culture firsthand that classroom concepts come to life. These immersive experiences broaden perspectives, build confidence, and help students envision themselves as future insurance professionals.

A highlight of the day was an exceptional alumni panel featuring four distinguished Humber graduates now thriving at HUB: Kenneth Enninful, Anne Pathammavong, Rekha R, Rohan Thomas, and Shubham Upneja. Their career journeys, candid advice, and reflections on transitioning from student to industry professional resonated deeply with our current cohort. Seeing alumni succeed is always inspiring and generates excitement among students who will soon be entering the industry.

We also extend our appreciation to industry speakers Jaheed Ceasar and Chris Greer for sharing their expertise and insight into the evolving insurance landscape.

HUB’s commitment to the Insurance Management program extends far beyond hosting this event. Since day one, HUB has been a foundational partner by providing the largest scholarship within the program, maintaining an active presence on the Program Advisory Committee, and consistently creating pathways for student success through internships and full-time employment opportunities for our graduates.

A special thanks to Jonathan Braithwaite, Tori Singleton, and Hazel Stewart for organizing and facilitating the event.
