Insurance Management – Property and Casualty (P&C) students had an opportunity to visit Gallagher, gaining firsthand exposure to the second largest in the world and the inner workings of the insurance industry. Through discussions with senior leaders and an interactive case study, students explored real-world scenarios, collaborated with professionals, and applied their classroom learning in a practical setting.

Experiences like this are critical for preparing the next generation of insurance professionals. They help students bridge the gap between academic study and day-one readiness, providing insight into industry practices, leadership, and career pathways that cannot be learned in the classroom alone.

Special recognition goes to Ashley Manti and Sarah Flowers for organizing and facilitating such a meaningful and engaging experience, and to the many Gallagher leaders who shared their expertise: Andrew Hosie, Lav Stubla, Connor Scharfe, Iman Hussein, Peter Bryant, Julie Weber, and Matt Wilford.

Over the years, Gallagher has been a huge supporter of the Insurance Management Program, seen through their scholarship, student internships and full-time roles, participation in the Insurance Career Fair, and contributions to the Program Advisory Committee (PAC).
