CEO Speaking Series Helps Prepare Students for the Industry

To keep students engaged with the insurance industry, the faculty organized a CEO Speaking Series for students in the Insurance Management program.

By way of two separate events, students had a great opportunity to speak to Colin Simpson, CEO, and Joseph Carnevale, President of the Insurance Brokers Association regarding how the broker channel is addressing the difficulties associated with COVID-19.

Students were also given the opportunity to speak to both Pat Van Bakel, CEO of Crawford & Company, and Erin Poirier, VP of Human Resources on how adjusters were handling insurance claims.

These thought leaders provided students with career management advice and tips on how to prepare for an industry role during the pandemic.
