Alumnus Honoured with Academic Awards from the Insurance Institute of Canada

Insurance Management – Property and Casualty (P&C) graduate Ismail Shaikh was recognized for his outstanding academic achievements by the Insurance Institute of Canada (IIC). His performance in the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) program in 2022 earned him two academic awards.

Ismail was presented with the titles of 'Top First Year CIP Student' and achieved the highest result in the first course of the CIP designation. Remarkably, this is the fifth instance in the past six years that a graduate from the Insurance Management program at Humber has received a distinguished honour for their academic success. This accomplishment not only underscores Ismail's dedication to academic excellence but also reflects the Insurance Management program's commitment to nurturing and developing top-tier professionals in the insurance industry.

Currently serving as an Associate Underwriter at Northbridge, Ismail continues to exemplify excellence in his professional endeavours. His success serves as an inspiration to all students within the Insurance Management program.
