Hospitality - Hotel and Restaurant Operations Management and Hospitality and Tourism Operations Management students engaged in a dynamic networking session titled 'Your Burning Questions' on November 3rd, where they had the chance to connect with Program Advisory Committee (PAC) Members. Employing their elevator pitches, students introduced themselves, sharing personal backgrounds before delving into career inquiries directed at committee members.

Notable insights from the PAC participants included:

  • Being prepared for mobility; career growth often involves several transitions.
  • Embracing the uncertainty of your career journey; where you start might be different from where you end up.
  • Capitalizing on your connections; networking can unlock unexpected opportunities.
  • Displaying strong time management skills; commitment and attendance are paramount.

Congratulations to the students for navigating through a blend of nervousness and enthusiasm and a special thanks to the dedicated and committed PAC members for their invaluable guidance and support.
