Hospitality – Hotel & Restaurant Operations Management Students Solve Industry Challenges

As the hospitality industry has been one of the hardest-hit sectors during the pandemic, operators have had to pivot to address challenges in the new era. Presented with current cases from the accommodations, food, and beverage, and retirement sectors, Hospitality & Restaurant Operations Management students worked diligently in groups over four months during their final semester to deliver forward-thinking initiatives.

Students applied strategic business models, as well as research, critical thinking, and teamwork skills to provide feasible solutions and realistic implementation plans to real-life cases for industry partners.
