Students Gain Industry Experience on Event Management Field Trip
First-year Hospitality - Event Management students were given the opportunity to experience hands-on application of classroom learning on a field trip to 4 different businesses within the GTA on Monday, October, 7th.
Business Professors Colin Bartley, Nicole Chuchmach and Tracey Grieveson, along with 110 students visited The International Centre, Stronco, AV Canada, and Decor & More to see different event set-up processes in action.
Students were given a first-hand glimpse of the multi-faceted industry, which helped to enhance their understanding of various event management operations.
The day was enriched with great conversation, positive feedback and strong networking connections.
