Hospitality and Tourism Management Students Raise Money to Support Hurricane Dorian Relief Efforts
On December 4th, final year Bachelor of Commerce – Hospitality and Tourism Management degree students in their Event Management and Planning course executed a fun-filled fundraising event - ‘A Day in the Bahamas’. Students raised over $2,300 to support the hurricane relief in the Bahamas.
A cheque was presented to Rahul Singh, Founder & Executive Director of GlobalMedic, who has also inspired the students to plan and support humanitarian efforts as part of their learning experience.
