Hospitality and Tourism Management Students Deliver Final Project Using a Virtual Event Planning Platform

Bachelor of Commerce – Hospitality and Tourism Management degree students used a state-of-the-art event planning platform to present their final course project.

The project, organized by students, consisted of a ‘Path to Wellness’ event and incorporated an interactive format. The event included guest speakers, a DJ spinning exciting music in a break-out room and a yoga demonstration.

Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) Project Manager Myra Fahim delivered a keynote address in the auditorium at the event using virtual meetings platform GoBrunch.

Proceeds from the ‘Path to Wellness’ event exceeded the $2,500 fundraising goal for CAMH and went to addressing mental health issues in the greater community.

Attendees won attractive prizes donated by sponsors in the raffle draw.
