A Q&A with Bachelor of Commerce - Healthcare Management Student Flannery Plate-Sadler

Bachelor of Commerce - Healthcare Management student Flannery Plate-Sadler worked at Preyra Solutions Group (PSG) as an analyst for her placement last summer learning about the client-side of healthcare and consulting.

"During my time with PSG, I learned a lot," said Flannery. "Although we were all working remotely due to the pandemic, PSG had a small team which made it very easy to get to know everyone. I found it difficult at first to adjust to a remote set-up but found myself adjusting early on. I also had the opportunity to build on my understanding of the Toronto market and how different institutions run."

I was drawn to this program because I wanted to make a difference and help those in need.

II learned that I am able to accomplish any task with determination and hard work.

How did Placement Advisors support/assist you with your placement?

They were always available to provide advice or guidance during my path to find a placement.

Ask questions and push yourself outside of your comfort zone when it comes to networking. It may seem scary, but it's the best way to connect with others and discover jobs you didn’t know existed.
