Partnerships Between Businesses & Nonprofit's Are Changing The World!

Longo Faculty of Business was well represented at The Partnership Conference. Brad Offman, President of Spire Philanthropy, and guest speaker in the Corporate Partnerships course offered through the Fundraising Management Postgrad hosted Samantha Jones, Professor & PC, at the conference.

"It was an inspiring event demonstrating how companies and charities are coming together to work on some of the world's biggest problems - environmental, social justice, health, and more." The conference featured speakers, panels, and case studies from SEPHORA, Royal Bank, Walmart, KPMG, The Anishnawbe Health Foundation, Futurpreneur, Canadian Mental Health Association, Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities, and more. One of the best parts of the conference was seeing so many Humber Fundraising Management alumni there! These grads are working to make the world a better place and exploring creative, meaningful partnerships with companies. Shared value and co-creation are leading to new and exciting initiatives in Corporate Social Responsibility and ESG. Alumni from Ontario Shores, Goodwill, Do Good Donuts, and more were there showing the growing power of partnerships across the nonprofit, social enterprise, and corporate sectors.
