The Humber Fashion Boutique partnered with Humber Athletics for a vibrant on-campus pop-up event that brought together sustainable style and Hawks pride.
Held on September 29, the collaboration aimed to raise awareness of the Humber Fashion Boutique, a student-run store dedicated to promoting sustainable, secondhand fashion while connecting with new audiences across the North Campus.
The boutique’s pop-up stand was set up alongside the Athletics booth, which featured school merchandise, Steelheads tickets, and interactive games. Together, the lively setup created a fun and engaging environment that encouraged students to stop, browse, and learn more about both departments.
“Many students told us they didn’t even know Humber had its own fashion boutique,” said Keeva O’Neill, who helped organize the event. “It was so rewarding to see their excitement once they realized they could shop sustainable and affordable fashion right on campus.
O’Neill added that promoting the boutique is especially meaningful to her as someone who has always loved fashion and believes in its power to shape community. “Fashion is more than clothing it’s a form of self-expression and connection,” she said. “Seeing students come together through style and sustainability shows how creativity can unite people.
The event not only sparked new awareness but also drove impressive sales for the boutique throughout the day, marking it as one of the most successful pop-up events yet. Students and faculty are encouraged to visit the Humber Fashion Boutique to explore curated thrifted styles and support sustainable fashion at Humber.
