Fashion Arts and Business Students Hold Virtual Event; ‘Rags to Riches’

On Sunday, December 5th, 2021, the Fashion Arts and Business students held a virtual event; ‘Rags to Riches’ #HumberVintage, highlighting the importance of sustainable fashion and winter vintage trends.


Over the past 3 months, under the guidance of instructor Roger Gingerich, students have learned the tools and techniques needed to plan and execute a successful event. The event was held via Zoom and was attended by guest speakers Caprice Conners, Manuela Nudo, and Kelly Drennan who spoke on these various topics. The event was made to inspire others on the importance of sustainability within the fashion industry.

Rags to Riches reminds us of the importance of fashion being re-worn, reused, and recycled.
