HLOs:
Students from Humber’s Photography, Fashion Arts and Business, and Cosmetic Management programs have been building their portfolios to promote their talent for potential employment opportunities upon graduation.
First-year Photography students Philip Vassighi, Amanda Escudero Duran, and Joel Burgos hit the ground running thanks to an introduction by Photography Professor Lauren Cheong to Kim Rich, Instructor for Fashion and Cosmetics. Over eight weeks, Philip, Amanda, and Joel volunteered their time and growing expertise to photograph hundreds of students from the Fashion and Cosmetics programs. Their dedication has resulted in an impressive body of work that highlights the collaborative efforts of all involved.
The projects allowed students to develop and showcase a range of creative skills, including art direction, modelling, wardrobe styling, visual merchandising, prop and set design, and makeup and hair artistry. These portfolio-worthy pieces reflect the talent and hard work of everyone involved.
