Event Management Students Host Financial Literacy Event for International Students

On November 2, students from the Event Management graduate certificate program successfully organized Invest In Yourself, a financial literacy event aimed at equipping international students with essential financial management skills. The initiative was held in collaboration with Enactus, Humber’s student-run entrepreneurship association.
The event, sponsored by BMO Canada and Red Bull, featured three expert speakers who provided actionable insights on budgeting, managing student finances, and building a foundation for long-term financial security.
With strong attendance and engaging sessions, complete with complimentary food, Invest In Yourself offered a meaningful learning experience for attendees. Equally, the event was an opportunity for the organizing students to showcase their event planning and teamwork skills, earning praise for their professionalism and dedication.
