Event Management Student Shines at Canada Arab Business Forum and Gala

Pranay Somani, an international student from India in the Event Management Graduate Certificate program, made a significant mark by contributing to the success of the 41st Canada Arab Business Forum and Gala.

The event, hosted on November 12 at the Delta Hotel in Downtown Toronto, brought together over 300 industry leaders, policymakers, and visionaries from Canada, the Middle East and North African region. With a focus on fostering collaboration and economic growth, the forum highlighted pivotal topics, including energy transitions, digital innovation, and trade relations.

As part of his internship, Pranay played a vital role in the planning and execution of the event. He supported the Business Forum’s panel discussions and contributed to the Gala, a vibrant evening that showcased cultural performances, inspiring speeches, and networking opportunities celebrating Canada-Arab partnerships.

Pranay’s commitment, innovative ideas, and attention to detail were key to the success of the occasion. His achievements demonstrate the strength of the Event Management program in preparing students for careers in the global events industry.
