We were delighted to welcome Anna Mathioudakis, International Trainer for Valmont, to our BSPA 110: Professional Skin Care class. Her visit offered students a rare opportunity to learn from a leader representing one of the world’s most prestigious luxury skincare houses - and to experience firsthand how science, innovation, and artistry come together in modern esthetics.

Anna walked students through Valmont’s distinctive philosophy, blending advanced cosmetic science with practical insights that will support their development as future estheticians. Her ability to break down complex concepts into engaging, accessible lessons made the session both inspiring and memorable.

Throughout the presentation, Anna shared not only the technical foundations behind Valmont’s products and professional protocols, but also the mindset, precision, and professionalism required when working with luxury brands. She introduced students to the remarkable heritage of Valmont, a Swiss brand born from the renowned Valmont Clinic, known for pioneering skin-regenerating medical treatments. With more than 40 years of expertise, Valmont has become a global icon in anti-aging skincare thanks to its commitment to excellence, innovation, and beauty.

Students were especially fascinated by Valmont’s signature high-performance ingredients—Triple DNA, RNA, Glacial Spring Water, plant extracts, and pure native collagen—as well as the brand’s specialized head-to-toe anti-aging treatments that define the Valmont experience in luxury spas around the world.

Anna’s visit enriched the BSPA110 curriculum by demonstrating how foundational skincare concepts such as active ingredients and product function - translate directly into real-world spa settings. She emphasized the importance of consistency in service, strong communication, and a deep understanding of the science behind luxury formulations.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Anna for sharing her time, expertise, and passion with our students. Visits like hers bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry practice, inspiring future estheticians to pursue excellence in their craft.
