At Enactus Humber Polytechnic, this commitment to innovation and problem-solving continues to drive meaningful change.
This year, the Environmental Sustainability Incubator at Humber once again proved its ability to transform bold concepts into thriving businesses. The team tackled a pressing environmental issue—the waste of expired and unsellable cosmetics—by repurposing makeup into paint for artists. Led by Hxlarisse Alyana Idala, this groundbreaking initiative earned first place in the Alumni Impact & Innovation Challenge at the Enactus Canada Regional Competition.
