Business Management Students Achieve Success at Riipen Cross College Entrepreneurial Challenge
Business Management students have once again demonstrated their entrepreneurial prowess by securing a notable victory at the Riipen Cross College Entrepreneurial Challenge for the second consecutive year. The event, which took place from April 24th to April 28th, witnessed the participation of numerous talented students from various educational institutions. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Babajide Pedro, Aamir Kaiser, and Jainam Jain for their outstanding achievement in winning the Most Creative Video category as Business Management – Entrepreneurial Enterprise students.
What set their submission apart was not just their forward-thinking approach, but also their utilization of cutting-edge AI technology, which played a pivotal role in producing the remarkable video. By leveraging these innovative tools, the students displayed a remarkable level of creativity and ingenuity.
The challenge for this year's edition was presented by Muna Mohammad, co-founder of Eight50 Coffee. The task assigned to the students was to determine the most effective QR code option for the business and seamlessly incorporate it into the packaging. On Monday night, the participants were introduced to the challenge, followed by a valuable opportunity to engage with the co-founder on Tuesday and seek clarification on any queries they had before formulating their solutions.
The final submissions, consisting of 5-minute videos, were required to be completed and submitted by Thursday at 5:00 p.m. The judging process took place on Friday morning, culminating in the announcement of the winners during the closing ceremony at 12:00 noon on the same day. Although the competing schools offered impressive entries, it was the Humber Team's video that captured the attention and engagement of both the esteemed co-founder and the judging panel, ultimately securing their well-deserved victory.
