Faria Islam is proud to be a Humber alumni. Always happy to talk about her experience at Humber Faria recently spoke with new Digital Business Management students during Orientation. Read more about her experience below, in her own words.
Hanadi asked me to join her for orientation day to chat with first-year students in the Digital Business Management program. It was very surreal because just four years ago I was on the other side, learning about that program (called e-Business Marketing then). It was interesting to have that moment come full circle and be able to share with the students my experiences on how the program changed my life. I have never been one to have school spirit, but for some reason with Humber, I am overly eager.
I think it was a great learning opportunity for both the students and I. I was able to answer a lot of questions, seeing as I once had many of the same ones. It was wonderful to share with new students the progress Humber has made. Many of them did not know about the new Fitness Centre, Welcome Centre and Longo Centre for Entrepreneurship. It felt good to be able to share with future graduates of my program as alumni about my time at Humber.
