Toronto WordPress Group Joins Digital Business Management Students for Insightful Meetup

Humber College's Lakeshore campus hosted a dynamic session as students from the Digital Business Management (DBM) program extended a warm welcome to the Toronto WordPress Group. The in-person meetup, titled "WordPress 101," marked a milestone as the Toronto WordPress Group reconvened for the first time since the pandemic, with the event taking place on-campus at the Longo Faculty of Business.
The engaging gathering was led by Dan Stramer, owner of dmdesign and co-organizer of the Toronto WordPress Group. In his presentation, Dan delved into the world of WordPress, and how it has evolved into the world’s leading Content Management System (CMS). His comprehensive overview encompassed the origins of WordPress, its evolution, its significant impact on the internet, and how it has effectively democratized website creation - enabling individuals and businesses to establish a robust online presence without extensive coding knowledge.
Following Dan's talk was a vibrant discussion and exchange of ideas among members of the Toronto WordPress Group and DBM students.
