Students from the third-year DIGI 3502: Database Systems course had the privilege of visiting NTN Bearing Corporation of Canada, gaining real-world insights into the transformative power of data analytics in a corporate environment. The visit, hosted by Paul Meo, Rita Payne, Lubnaa Aamirah, Kirtan Khajanchi, Loren Almeida, and Ken Wells, provided a firsthand look at how NTN leverages advanced tools like Power BI and data visualization to drive decision-making and optimize business processes.

The experience highlighted the critical role of data analytics in modern business, offering students a deeper understanding of how database reporting tools can be applied to solve complex challenges. A standout moment of the visit was witnessing Lubnaa Aamirah, a recent graduate of the Digital Business Management program, excel in her role as a Business Analyst at NTN.
