Digital Business Management and Marketing Students Visit Google Canada

A group of students from the Digital Business Management and Marketing programs spent a morning at Google Canada's office in downtown Toronto on May 2nd, accompanied by Program Co-ordinators Hanadi Alnawab and Emily Gaszynski.

The day began with a presentation by Amalia Galanis on the Future of Digital Advertising, followed by an information session on Google's Career Certificates by Ana Tomas.

The presentations were followed by a career panel with five Googlers, moderated byBen Wise and included Trevor Cresswell, Sophia Ngo, and Digital Business Management graduate Kyle White, along with Amalia and Ana. Students had the chance to engage in a conversation with the panellists, and had their questions answered about careers at Google and the skills required for future jobs.

The visit concluded with a tour of the Google office and workspaces, providing students with an inside look at careers at Google and the skills required for future jobs.
