Cross-Faculty Collaboration Inspires Business Students

On November 21st, a Bachelor of Design - User Experience work-study student presented her research on emerging tech prototyping software, Create with Play, to Digital Business Management students.

Facilitated by Digital Business Management Program Co-ordinator Hanadi Alnawab, the cross-disciplinary partnership allows students with complementary skill sets to share their expertise and support fellow students across multiple programs and faculties.

"The main goal isn't for the business students to become designers or developers - even though they are always welcome to pursue that," said Web Design and Interactive Media Professor David Neumann. "It's for these opportunities to spark curiosity, build confidence, and expand the agency of what is possible within mobile app prototyping."

The multi-disciplinary learning experience was a huge success and laid the foundation for more cross-collaboration opportunities in the future.
