Students Recreate Iconic Looks Using Household Items

For their final assessment, Cosmetic Management students were asked to recreate a character from either a major motion film or television series.

Without having access to the makeup lab at Humber, their creativity was tested by finding recipes and household items to create special effects materials such as wax, latex, and blood. Students were asked to emphasize detail, creativity, and realism to bring their characters to life.

The assignment encouraged the students' application of skills learned in the semester before self-isolation practices due to COVID-19.
