Showcasing Student Creativity: Makeup Portfolios Shine at Beauty Conference

In a vibrant display of creativity and skill, Cosmetic Management students in COSM 255: Experiential Learning produced exceptional digital portfolios showcasing their innovative makeup applications and looks. Collaborating with talented Humber photography students and their classmates, the students meticulously planned and executed their unique visions, culminating in a striking collection of images prominently featured at the 'Business of Beauty' conference.

The exposure extended beyond the conference as select images from these portfolios caught the attention of industry professionals and were published in Cosmetics Magazine, a renowned trade publication. This recognition underscores the exceptional talent and dedication of the Cosmetic Management students.

Graduate Ivy Liao expressed her excitement: "I am very excited to see my work published in Cosmetics Magazine! I feel proud! Thank you so much for coordinating everything! Also, I am very grateful for the opportunity to make connections during the Beauty Conference, and I am working at Shoppers as a management trainee now. I feel very lucky about the opportunities I got at Humber."

Graduate Parneet Sohal also shared her appreciation: "My deepest gratitude for the invaluable support and guidance I received throughout the process of getting my work published.
