HLOs:
Cosmetic Management students demonstrated exceptional skills and dedication at Style Democracy's NUDESTIX Sales event. This opportunity highlighted the experiential learning they received through their coursework and was a testament to their abilities.
The team comprised four graduates and three first-semester students, each bringing unique talents and energy to the event. The fourth-semester graduates served as team leads, managing the on-campus pop-up shop. Their extensive experience and knowledge from their capstone project, the NUDESTIX Pop-up shop, prepared them well for this role. Graduate Tashi Wangmo reflected on the experience: "My experience as a Nudestix ambassador at the Style Democracy was truly rewarding. The week was filled with excitement and positive energy, and I am overjoyed that our efforts were well-received, leading to an invitation for future sales. I attribute this success to our capstone project, the Nudestix Pop-up shop at Humber weeks prior. This opportunity has not only strengthened my self-confidence but also deepened my appreciation for the beauty industry."
The event's atmosphere provided an ideal setting for students to showcase their capabilities. This invaluable experience has not only honed their practical skills but also significantly enhanced their appreciation for the ever-evolving world of beauty.
Congratulations to all the students involved. We look forward to hearing more about your future accomplishments in the exciting field of beauty. Keep up the fantastic work!
