On Wednesday, April 13, 2016, soon-to-be Humber Business Marketing graduates gathered in the Seventh Semester Room at Humber North Campus to hear from program alumni about what awaits them in the world of marketing.
Approximately 80 fourth semester students were in attendance to hear from program alumni at the annual event organized by Marketing Professor Christina Clements. The students settled in for a morning of valuable advice and networking. Five alumni took part in the event and provided the students with insights about their paths from Humber and their current roles, as well as, job finding tips and advice and the skills that are important for new grads.

The students were keen to chat with the speakers during coffee breaks and eagerly asked questions of each presenter. Key takeaways from the event for the students included; the importance of networking, setting achievable goals, teamwork, learning from your mistakes, hard work, and creativity.
