When Business Management student Domenic Ieraci first co-founded Sparkles Auto Care Inc. in 2021, it started as a small side venture, a way to earn extra income while completing his studies at Humber. What began as a modest project soon grew into something much bigger.
Through determination, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to quality, Sparkles Auto Care Inc. has evolved into a full-time business serving clients across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The company has built a reputation as a leader in automotive detailing and restoration, offering services such as ceramic coating, paint protection film (PPF), and premium detailing.
With over 1,000 vehicles detailed, a growing fleet, and a dedicated team, Domenic’s entrepreneurial journey has been a story of steady, strategic growth.
But what makes his journey even more remarkable is Domenic’s decision to return to Humber. After his business expanded to the point where he had to step away from his studies, Domenic returned to Humber after learning about the Business Management Diploma’s new fully online program to finish his final courses, all while continuing to run his company full-time.
“Coming back to Humber through the online program has allowed me to balance both my education and my business,” says Domenic. “It’s given me the flexibility to apply what I’m learning in real time, directly into my company.”
From Classroom to Company — and Back Again
Founded in 2021, Sparkles Auto Care Inc. began with a simple mission: to restore vehicles and machinery to their original showroom condition with uncompromising quality, attention to detail, and professionalism.
Over the past few years, the company has expanded its reach, offering automotive services to residential and commercial clients and launching a second division focused on on-site machinery washing and detailing for construction companies. Sparkles Auto Care’s client list now includes dealerships, auto body shops, and corporate fleets that rely on the company for high-end, reliable service.
“Our goal has always been to deliver quality, build trust, and grow sustainably,” Domenic says. “We’ve invested in training, certifications, and professional equipment to maintain high standards, and that’s helped us earn long-term loyalty from our customers.”
The Humber Connection
Domenic credits much of his business mindset to his time in Humber’s Business Management program.
“The program gave me a strong foundation in marketing, finance, and strategic planning,” he explains. “It helped me understand how all the parts of a business connect. The hands-on projects and case studies pushed me to think critically, make data-driven decisions, and adapt to challenges.”
Now completing his studies through the online delivery format, Domenic continues to see how Humber’s learning outcomes translate into real-world business success.
“The flexibility of the online program has been a game changer. It’s allowed me to keep growing my business while staying committed to finishing my diploma,” he shares.

“Find something you have a deep passion for and build around it,” he says. “Network, stay organized, and embrace setbacks as lessons. Most importantly, believe in yourself and don’t let anyone doubt your ideas. Keep moving forward, and success will come.”

As Domenic prepares to graduate in the new year, he’s focused on the next phase of growth for Sparkles Auto Care. The company plans to expand its workforce and vehicle fleet, strengthen its marketing presence, and launch a dedicated media department to manage its social media and digital strategy.
“Our goal is to keep scaling sustainably,” Domenic says. “We’re building a strong team, improving our operations, and staying true to the values that got us here.”
