Humber Polytechnic’s Pathways Panel showcased many inspiring student journeys, and among them was Sana Mohadesi, whose story reflects adaptability, determination, and the power of discovering new passions through education.
Sana’s academic path began in Iran, where she first studied computer engineering. After moving to Canada, however, she made an unexpected shift, one that would open the door to new opportunities and a renewed sense of purpose. What began as a practical choice soon grew into a genuine passion as she explored how different areas of business connect to shape organizations, industries, and communities. This curiosity led her to the Business Management program at Humber, where she quickly developed a strong interest in the field.
Sana graduated in Summer 2025 and has since transitioned successfully into the Canadian workforce. She now works full time as a Site Administrator for a downtown condominium, a role in which her coursework, assignments and applied learning experiences have played a meaningful role. Her ability to adapt, communicate effectively, and think strategically has helped her excel in this fast-paced and client-centered environment.
Looking ahead, Sana is committed to continuing her professional growth. She plans to pursue higher-level roles across a range of fields while also exploring further education opportunities. Her time in the Business Management program sparked an entrepreneurial mindset, something she never imagined for herself before. She now sees the possibility of starting her own business one day. At the same time, she has developed a strong passion for mathematics, a new interest she hopes to integrate into her future studies or career pathway. Sana remains open to whatever direction her evolving interests may lead.
Her advice to students is grounded in her lived experience: “If you’re unsure about your path, Business Management is a great starting point. It gives you a broad foundation that opens many doors. Use Humber’s services, attend events, plan your course selection carefully, and make time for focused study, those choices made a big difference in my success.”
Sana credits much of her journey to the support she received along the way. She extends heartfelt thanks to her family for their unwavering encouragement, to her friends for being her emotional anchor, and to the Longo Faculty of Business and her professors for guiding her through every stage of her Business Management program.
Beyond academics, Sana loves volunteering and staying engaged in campus events, contributing to the community that supported her growth.
