Fourth-semester Baking and Pastry Arts Management students showcased their creativity and technical skills in an advanced cake decoration class led by Chef Josie Bancheri. Their challenge? Designing cakes that resemble hand-drawn cartoon illustrations of a cake slice.

Through precise carving, intricate detailing, and expert fondant work, students transformed passionfruit-mango cakes into whimsical, two-dimensional masterpieces. When photographed from the right angle, these cakes appear as though they’ve been lifted straight from an animated sketch.

Beyond mastering this unique decorating technique, students were thrilled to share their creations online, receiving enthusiastic feedback from their social media followers.
