Yasaman Ilaghi-Hosseini, a fourth-year Bachelor of Paralegal Studies student, has been accepted into the Master of Arts - Communication and Culture program at Toronto Metropolitan University. This marks a significant accomplishment for Yasaman, who has a strong background in liberal studies, human rights research, and tutoring.

During her time at Humber, Yasaman served as a tutor for various liberal studies courses, including those focused on race, gender, and the digital era. She also researched human rights issues, such as LGBTQ+, indigenous, and women's rights. Her field of study for the Master of Arts program will be Media and Culture, which is a full-time program lasting two years. One of the most notable aspects of Yasaman's acceptance into the program is that she will be receiving funding for her post-graduate studies.

Upon completion of the Master of Arts program, Yasaman hopes to pursue a Ph.D. in the same field. Her ultimate career goal is to obtain a teaching position at the college level, where she can share her knowledge and experience with future generations of students.

Overall, Yasaman's acceptance into the Master of Arts program at Toronto Metropolitan University is a significant milestone in her academic and career journey. We wish her all the best as she embarks on this new chapter and pursues her goals.
