Paralegal Studies Graduate Pursues Teaching Career in Law

Paul Komisar, a 2019 graduate of the Bachelor of Paralegal Studies program and a licensed paralegal, is pursuing his passion for teaching Law and History at the secondary school level.

Enrolled in the Teacher Education Program within Western University's Faculty of Education, Paul is gaining practical experience through two teaching practicums, including a unit on Human Rights Law at both federal and provincial levels. His strong legal background provides a unique foundation for teaching law, a subject offered as a teachable at only two Ontario faculties of education.

While at Humber Polytechnic, Paul honed his skills in multimedia presentations and developed strong writing skills, which he found invaluable during his post-graduate application process.
