Paralegal Studies Graduate Excels in Law and Joins Condominium Litigation Firm

Madeline Williams, a 2017 graduate of the Bachelor of Paralegal Studies program, has achieved significant milestones in her legal career. In 2022, she earned her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Leeds Law School and has since joined Lash Condo Law, a firm specializing in condominium law and litigation.

Madeline’s journey with Lash Condo Law began earlier, serving as a Law Clerk from 2019 to 2021. Her longstanding dedication to the legal profession traces back to her time as a student, where she was an active participant in industry-focused events. In 2015, she volunteered at the Paralegal Cup Mooting Competition hosted by Humber, which brought together paralegal students from various colleges to showcase their advocacy skills under the guidance of lawyers and licensed paralegals. The following year, she contributed to the OBA/OJEN (Ontario Bar Association and the Ontario Justice Education Network) Competitive Mock Trials, receiving recognition from Justice Anne Molloy of the Superior Court of Justice for her role in supporting youth-focused legal education programs.

From 2022 to February 2025, Madeline expanded her experience through pro bono work with the Chapeltown Citizens Advice Bureau. There, she assisted with welfare support appeals, conducting client interviews and legal research to support counsel.

Upon welcoming her as an articling student, Lash Condo Law lauded Madeline’s passion for condominium law and her commitment to excellence, emphasizing the alignment of her values with the firm’s. Her skills, dedication, and enthusiasm are expected to make a meaningful impact on both the firm and its clients.
