Isi Imafidon, a 2023 graduate of the Bachelor of Paralegal Studies degree program, has been granted admission into the Master of Public Policy, Administration, and Law (MPPAL) program at York University. The MPPAL program includes the opportunity to study leading-edge subjects such as change management, human resources management, the impact of multiculturalism on policy development and implementation, as well as innovative approaches to labour relations and conflict resolution, e-government and the impact of globalization.
Isi excelled academically during her time at Humber, achieving a strong overall GPA and earning an Honours standing in her fourth year with a GPA of 85.9 percent. Her academic prowess, coupled with her practical experience, positioned her as a standout candidate for York University's MPPAL program.
During her field placement, Isi served as a legal assistant at the Crown Law Office of the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General. In this role, she was responsible for preparing legal documents and managing case files while also contributing to human resource management through the training of new legal assistants. Notably, she assisted in launching a transformative project on file management within the Civil Law Division, leveraging evolving technologies to optimize file management practices.
