As an honours graduate with a GPA of 92.4 percent, Alexandra showcased her commitment to legal education through various endeavours. Alongside her studies, she volunteered as a peer mentor and co-founded the Humber Legal Association, a student-led organization fostering legal education programs and networking opportunities. Alexandra completed her placement with a criminal law firm, gaining invaluable experience in the court process and developing an understanding of the criminal justice system. She was also a contributor to Humber's Journal of Paralegal Access to Justice, with her article on "Actuarial Triage: A Solution to Canada's Criminal Justice System Delays". This article, published in the 2023 Edition, proposed an actuarial system of triage that identified low-risk offenders and would divert them to an alternative program. Alexandra expressed her gratitude to Bachelor of Paralegal Studies Faculty Members and Co-Editors of the Journal, Professors Jasteena Dhillon and Bernie Aron, for their mentorship, guidance and support. Upon completion of her law studies, Alexandra aspires to pursue a career as a criminal law lawyer.
Similarly, Hammad Hussain graduated with honours and a GPA of 90.7 percent. Lincoln Alexander School of Law, was his top-choice institution for law school. During his time at Humber, Hammad excelled in his field placement with the Tax Law Services Division of the Department of Justice Canada, where he assisted senior counsel in major tax litigation. Hammad also prepared court documents for proceedings in the Tax Court of Canada and the Federal Court of Appeal. As a Paralegal Studies student, he was a Peer Mentor, providing other students with advice concerning available services, and tutoring in writing skills and time management. Expressing gratitude to Humber's Bachelor of Paralegal Studies Faculty, Hammad aims to uphold the institution's legacy during his time at the Law School and throughout his legal career.
