Paralegal Students Attend OBA's Educational Institute

Over 50 third-year students from the Bachelor of Paralegal Studies program attended and staffed the Humber exhibit at the Ontario Bar Association's (OBA) 2020 Educational Institute on February 6th and 7th in downtown Toronto. Lawyers from across Ontario attended the OBA's Institute, Canada's largest continuing professional development event for the legal community. The students answered queries about the Paralegal Studies degree program and networked with attendees and other exhibitors.

Three students were selected to attend the session on Privacy Law chaired by Ann Cavoukian, former Information and Privacy Commissioner for the Province of Ontario. The students learned about case law as well as the statutory developments that are impacting this important and emerging field of law.
