Daniel Fishman, a 2022 graduate of the Bachelor of Paralegal Studies program, has achieved a remarkable feat by securing admission offers from seven Canadian law schools. Daniel's remarkable academic performance is evidenced by his program GPA of 89.7%, which is a testament to his dedication and hard work during his four years of study. Additionally, he has served in the Canadian Armed Forces Reserve throughout his studies and continues to serve as a non-commissioned member, demonstrating his strong commitment to public service.
Recognized for his outstanding legal acumen and dedication to justice, Daniel was awarded the prestigious Prosecutors' Association of Ontario Award in 2021. This award was presented to him for his excellence in advocacy and for exemplifying the highest ideals of justice. Following this recognition, Daniel received admission offers from two law schools in British Columbia and three in Ontario.
After careful consideration of his options, Daniel has accepted an offer from the University of Alberta, which boasts a legacy as the third-oldest law school in Canada.
Currently, Daniel is serving as a Legal Assistant with the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks. In this role, he has gained valuable experience in prosecuting Provincial Offences under various Ontario statutes and has demonstrated exceptional skill and expertise in Renewable Energy Appeal hearings. Daniel also has several years of personal injury law experience, as a legal assistant, which he intends to make as part of his law practice. With his impressive credentials and professional experience, Daniel is poised to make a meaningful contribution to the legal profession in Canada.
