Paralegal Alumna Achieves Academic Success at Osgoode Hall Law School

Amira Syed, a 2020 graduate of the Bachelor of Paralegal Studies program, has achieved another milestone by graduating from the Professional LLM program in Canadian Common Law at Osgoode Hall Law School.

Amira's academic journey includes completing the two-year Senior Status LLB program at the University of Law, Bloomsbury Campus in London, England, where she graduated in 2022. Her pursuit of excellence led her to the Masters program at Osgoode Hall Law School, where she fulfilled the course requirements set by the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA), positioning herself for admission to the Law Society of Ontario (LSO) Bar.

Currently preparing for her bar admission exams, Amira brings a wealth of experience from her contract position with the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner (IPC) of Ontario, focusing on promoting compliance with the province's access and privacy laws.

Expressing her gratitude, Amira acknowledges the guidance and support received from the Bachelor of Paralegal Studies Program Coordinator Bernie Aron. With his assistance, Amira proudly shares the news of her successful graduation from the Masters program at Osgoode Hall and her ongoing preparations for the Bar.
