Leeds University School of Law Welcomes Paralegal Alumna

Rebecca Wood Oxha, a 2023 graduate of the Bachelor of Paralegal Studies program, has been granted admission to Leeds University School of Law, one of the leading law schools in the United Kingdom, ranking in the top 100 in the world in the latest QS World University Ranking by Subject.

Rebecca's outstanding academic performance during her graduation year earned her the distinction of achieving Honours standing, with a Term GPA of 87.3 percent. Throughout her four years of study, she also dedicated her time and efforts to gaining practical experience in the legal field by working part-time as a law clerk and legal assistant for a reputable Family Law practitioner.

Within her role, Rebecca successfully executed a diverse range of responsibilities, including the utilization of specialized software such as PCLaw for tasks like running computer programs, updating systems records, and inputting essential data. In her own words, Rebecca expressed her satisfaction with her employment experience, stating, "My employment as a Law Clerk for a Family Law firm has allowed me to use my organizational skills and creativity while balancing administrative, communications, and customer service duties. On a day-to-day basis, I am trusted to manage and prioritize several tasks such as managing all the files, problem-solving time-sensitive matters that have a deadline, dealing head-on with clients, and allowing my employer to keep on top of his schedule."

With her academic achievements and practical experience in the legal field, Rebecca is poised to embark on a promising journey at the University of Leeds, further solidifying her dedication and commitment to pursuing a successful legal career.
