The Humber Hawk made a lively appearance at Humber’s Open House on Saturday, November 15, at the Lakeshore Campus. Posing for photos with prospective students and their families, the Hawk drew plenty of attention to the booths showcasing Humber’s degree and diploma programs.

The mascot also stopped by the Bachelor of Paralegal Studies program display to meet Program Coordinator Bernie Aron and second-year students Julia Peng, Mia Papazian, and Vir Rohera. The students later served as panelists during the Paralegal Studies information session, which welcomed about 20 attendees, including future students and their families. As panelists, the students shared their experience in the program, and offered advice for being successful in their studies.

Julia Peng, a transfer student from Vancouver, reflected on the experience:

“Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to be a program ambassador on behalf of the Bachelor of Paralegal Studies program at the Open House this weekend. I had so much fun talking with you, engaging with attendees, and spending extra time with my peers.”

With the enthusiasm of students, faculty, and the Humber Hawk, the event offered a glimpse into the learning experience and community that awaits prospective Paralegal Studies students.
